Admiralty are interested as bearing on the Arsenal Yard,
where the Naval Ordnance Stores are stored, and which
would have no water frontage at all.

The third objection which I wish to raise in
connection with the whole scheme of Reclamation, is that
the Man-of-War anchorage, already insufficient to meet the
requirements of the Fleet, will be seriously curtailed.
The loss of the berths of four vessels and all the
lighters' moorings is involved.
5.
I am forwarding copies of this correspondence to the
Commander in Chief for the consideration of the Admiralty.
